10-Oct-2009: Like a Prayer
Adapted from an adventure seed in Superiors 2.

Deyinara
Called by an acquaintance Deyinara had while still a servitor of Andrealphus--a Balseraph named Marshel--the Calabite of Hardcore agreed to help track down and acquire Alorius, a newly fledged Impudite who had left Hell unexpectedly. Alorius was desired by the Prince of Lust as a plaything and Marshel not knowing where one of his few demon employees was could prove detrimental--especially as signs pointed to the demon possibly going renegade. Alorius was in a convent and not seducing or corrupting anyone.

Marshel, not wanting to remain on the corporeal realm (where he was extremely weak) requested Deyinara's aid and brought in another demon, an Impudite of Theft by the name of Rhys. Marshel promised that, should they assist, their names would not go unnoticed by Andrealphus or Asmodeus (depending on Alorius's renegade status). Of course, since they now knew of the possibly renegading status of the newly-fledged demon, the Balseraph promised he'd take them down with him, should a black mark be added to his standing.

Through the reconnaissance of Rhys, the team managed to verify the location of Alorius--a monastery and rumored training camp for angels of the Sword--and set a plan to retrieve her. Deyinara was to provide the distraction, while Rhys crept in physically and Marshel provided back-up in celestial form. The Destroyer's distraction proved swift as she was assailed by an angel with a flaming katana. The two came to blows and though Deyinara managed to send the angel (presumably of the Sword) back to Heaven, her own corporeal form was quite damaged and she was an inch away from the Trauma of corporeal death, herself. When two more nuns with broadswords approached, she worried that her time on Earth might come to a end that night. However, the humans were easily dispatched (with much Disturbance to the Symphony) and, noticing Rhys towing Alorius behind him, the team escaped before more angelic assailants appeared.

Marshel promised Deyinara a favor and claimed he would make note of her assistance to Andrealphus. Though it was not directly expressed, Deyinara could "feel" her Prince smiling down on her Heart--approving of the dispatch of both an angel and nuns.

Achaiah, Meshail & Nithaul
The other three were nearly up to their necks in syrup and in deep batter in the Pancake Breakfast session.
